WBHO had its origins in 1970 and the Group is currently one of the largest construction companies in Southern Africa, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. It has been recognized by Standard and Poor as one of the top performing companies in the world. The company motto ‘Rely on our Ability’ was given substance as it placed the final steel cube in the R448 million, Moses Mabhida Stadium arch January 2009 (Durban). WBHO Construction is principally involved in Design and Construction; Civil Engineering and Roads and Earthworks.
WBHO which has a record of ‘partnerships that work’ has previously teamed up separately with Group Five and Rainbow Construction on a variety of projects of national importance. These projects respectively include a consortium bid for ‘prison’ construction and design (Barberton Youth Detention Centre PPP) and the Baviaanspoort Youth Detention Centre. WBHO’s CSI projects (R5 million for the year) are planned to touch the lives of the poorest of the poor daily.
